Jewelry Of The Week – JOTW#22

Hello Buddies ­čÖé

One more cute earring ready for this weeks Jewelry of the week. Its a blue green combination. I love this combination. I used thinner quilling papers this time and lesser jewelry making tools. As you all requested this time I tried to take step by step photos as much as possible.I couldn’t wait till Sunday to post so here’s your JOTW in advance ­čÖé

Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper
  • Ear hooks
  • Jump rings
  • Kundan/Rhine stones
  • Nose PliersSupplies

Method :

  1. Take a green paper and tightly roll it into a circle
  2. Take a half length blue paper and similarly roll it as a tight
  3. Take a blue quilling paper and roll it over a thick pen like marker. You will get a ring shape.Remove it from the pen
  4. I pressed it slightly on one side it turned into a rounded triangle i liked the shape ­čÖépaper steps
  5. Stick the bigger circle in green colour on the pinched edge.
  6. Stick the small blue circle on top (as shown in the picture)
  7. Insert a jump ring on the blue circle. Also add an ear hook in the Jump ring.assembling earring
  8. Close the Jump ring and Earring is almost ready
  9. Stick small white rhine stones on the green circle to hide the hole in the centre as well as to add charm to the earring
  10. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water.

Blue Drops – JOTW#21

I am back with one more trendy jewelry. This week along with the earring I made a pendent as well. Its made out of quilling paper. This one is little different from the regular earrings I make. I liked it very much it was the simplest but pretty designblue bellsSupplies required:

  • Quilling paper
  • Head pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Crystal beads
  • Silver wire
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

Method :

  1. Take a blue quilling paper and roll it over a thick pen like marker. You will get a ring shape.Remove it from the pensteps
  2. Pinch the ring on one side to get a tea drop shape. Make 3 pieces like this. Two for earrings and one for pendantearring and pendant
  3. Connect a jump ring on the pinched end of the tea drop
  4. Insert a crystal inside a head pin. I used round crystal for earrings and oval crystal for pendantpendant
  5. Make a loop on the head pin above the crystal cut out the excess
  6. Connect this loop to the jump ring
  7. Add ear hooks to the jump rings of the earrings alone
  8. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water.

Jewelry Of The Week – JOTW#20

I am back after a long time.This week’s earrings is a dangle made from┬ápaper beads.┬áPaper beads are made out of magazine paper. There are various different possibilities and shapes of paper beads I have chosen two of them. Ok ┬álets move to the tutorialpaper bead earring

Supplies required:

  • Old magazine paper
  • Ear hooks
  • Long Head pins
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers
  • Acrylic Paint colours

Method :

  1. Make two beads of each type as shown in the picturepaper beads
  2. Two beads of 1cm width and two of 1.5 cm width
  3. MIx glue + water in the ratio 2:1 and apply it on top of the beads and allow it to drymagazine beads
  4. Insert each bead in a tooth pick
  5. Dip the 1 cm beads in orange colour acrylic paint and allow it to dry
  6. Dip the 1.5 cm beads in green colour paint and allow it to dry on a foam piece with use of the tooth pickpainted beads
  7. Once it is dry first insert the orange bead into a head pin then a green bead
  8. Then on top of the two beads form a loop and cut the excess wire, this forms the hanging part
  9. Connect the hanging part with the ear hooks. Thats it you are almost done.
  10. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water.

Clay Dice Earring – JOTW #19

I am back again. This week I made a cute trendy earring made from mseal/clay. M-seal is a clay kind of thing we use to seal the pipeline leakages.I tried a simple hand pressed earring with it. Its in the shape of dice. Check it outJOTW19

Supplies required:

  • M-Seal (Resin and hardner)
  • Head pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers
  • Paint

Method

  1. Cut equal parts of resin and hardner from the M-seal and knead it together
  2. Press it in the shape of a cube.
  3. Insert a head pin into the corner of the mseal cube.
  4. Let it dry atleast for an hourJOTW19
  5. Once its dry apply fabric paint on it of any colour of your choice i chose black.
  6. Form a loop on top of the cube using the headpin
  7. Connect the ear hook to this loopJOTW19
  8. Now mark the dice markings with white fabric paint
  9. Thats it trendy hand pressed dice earrings ready
  10. Make these adorable earrings and enjoy it !JOTW19

Valentine Earring – JOTW #18

This weeks earring is valentine special heart shaped earring made from mseal/clay. M-seal is a clay kind of thing we use to seal the pipeline leakages.We had some extra at my house so i tried a simple hand pressed earring with it. Check it outheart earrings

Supplies required:

  • M-Seal (Resin and hardner)
  • Head pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Pink beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

Method

  1. Cut equal parts of resin and hardner from the M-seal and knead it together
  2. Roll it into thin chain like structureJOTW18
  3. Form heart shape with two layers
  4. Insert a head pin into the bead and insert it into the middle of the mseal heart
  5. Let it dry atleast for an hour
  6. Once its dry apply fabric paint on it of any colour of your choice i chose baby pink
  7. Form a loop on top of the heart using the headpin
  8. Connect the ear hook to this loop
  9. Thats it trendy heart earrings ready
  10. Make these and impress your girlfriend with your tiny handmade gift
    heart earrings

JOTW – Jewelry Of The Week #17

This week’s earring is a new try ­čÖé I used M-seal to make these earrings. M-seal is a clay kind of a thing we use to seal the pipeline leakages.We had some extra at my house so i tried a simple hand pressed earring with it. Check it outJOTW17

Supplies required:

  • M-Seal (Resin and hardner)
  • Head pins
  • Eye pins
  • Ear hooks
  • crystal beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

Method :

  1. Cut equal parts of resin and hardner from the M-seal and knead it together
  2. Hand press it in the shape of a pyramidJOTW17 steps
  3. Insert an eye pin in the middle of it before it dries.
  4. Let it dry for atleast half and hour. Then it will harden
  5. Form a loop on top of the pyramid with the other end of the eye pin.
  6. Connect a ear hook at the top loop.
  7. Insert a head pin inside a white crystal bead and form a dangle kind
  8. Connect this crystal bead dangle with the bottom loop of the eye pin inserted in the m-seal
  9. Apply some glitter on three sides of the m seal.
  10. Thats it earring ready ­čÖé

Red Bells – JOTW #16

This week I went back to my jumkhees ­čÖé I don’t know why but I like the jumkhee earrings more. So this week I made one Attractive red colour bell earring with white crystal hangings. It looks simple and pretty ­čÖéjotw16

Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper – Red
  • Head pins
  • Eye pins
  • Ear hooks
  • crystal beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Roll the red colour paper first into a tight circle using quilling needle
  2. Secure the end of red paper with glue.
  3. Give a slight push in the middle of the circle from one side and raise it above to form the bell like shape for the earring.
  4. Insert a white crystal bead into a head pin and form a loop and cut the excess wire this forms the hanging part
  5. Insert a small silver bead inside a eye pin. Then insert the quilling paper inside this eye pin.
  6. Form a small loop of this eye pin and cut the excess wire
  7. Connect the hanging bead loop with this eye pin end. Now the jumkhee bell and hanging beads get connected.
  8. Insert the Ear hook in the loop above the paper bell.
  9. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water.
